LANSIS 261
The LANSIS 261 features an exclusive implementation of a back‑illuminated, deep‑depletion CCD sensor with a 2048 × 263 pixel format, designed specifically for demanding spectroscopy applications. The combination of deep‑depletion technology, high‑speed readout, and low noise performance makes the LANSIS 261 particularly well suited for near‑infrared (NIR) and Raman spectroscopy, where high sensitivity and signal integrity are essential.
By delivering high quantum efficiency across a broad spectral range and supporting deep cooling, the LANSIS 261 provides reliable performance for OEM and system‑integrated spectroscopic instruments.
Description
LANSIS – CCD Cameras for Spectroscopy
The LANSIS™ CCD camera family from Teledyne Princeton Instruments represents the latest generation of CCD array detector technology, specifically developed for OEMs and system integrators in spectroscopy applications. LANSIS cameras combine high reliability, strong performance, and cost efficiency to meet a wide range of technical and budget requirements.
Designed for demanding spectroscopic techniques such as Raman spectroscopy, optical emission spectroscopy (OES), fluorescence, and photoluminescence (PL), LANSIS cameras deliver high sensitivity across the ultraviolet to near-infrared wavelength range. The use of back-illuminated CCD sensors, with optional eXcelon® technology, provides high quantum efficiency while minimizing etaloning effects, particularly in the near-infrared.
LANSIS cameras are engineered for easy system integration, offering multiple mechanical mounting options and a plug-and-play user experience. Full compatibility with Teledyne’s PICam™ software development kit enables straightforward integration with common development environments such as Python, C++, and LabVIEW.
High manufacturing consistency and permanent vacuum-sealed technology ensure long-term stability and reliability in OEM instrumentation. With multiple sensor formats available, the LANSIS platform supports a broad range of spectroscopy system designs for both scientific and industrial applications.
