Description
High Performance Imaging Spectrographs
SpectraPro HRS
The SpectraPro® HRS ensures high spectral resolution, as well as an astigmatism-corrected design for multichannel fiber applications. With dual exit ports the SpectraPro HRS can be used as two array detectors or as both a monochromator and spectrograph.
ResXtreme Spectral Deconvolution Technology
ResXtreme improves spectral resolution and peak intensity of spectral lines by up to 60%, with an overall improvement in spectral uniformity of up to 60% across all CCD positions.
By significantly enhancing signal-to-noise performance, ResXtreme is included as standard with all SpectraPro HRS systems, ensuring optimal spectral results.
- Up to 60% improvement in spectral resolution and signal-to-noise ratio
- Astigmatism-corrected optical system
- Interchangeable grating turrets
- Calibrated using the IntelliCal system
- Optimised for multi-detector operation
ResXtreme uses advanced two-dimensional spectral deconvolution to enhance both spectral resolution and signal-to-noise performance.
In this example, spectral resolution improves from 0.0934 nm to 0.0615 nm after applying ResXtreme
(SpectraPro HRS-300, 1200 g/mm grating, ProEM-HS:1K EMCCD with 10 µm pixels).
Full-Size Dual Focal Planes
The SpectraPro HRS features two exit ports for mounting and operating two cameras, enabling simultaneous operation as both a monochromator and a spectrograph.
AccuDrive™
AccuDrive™ software automatically identifies the installed turret and gratings during system start-up and performs multiple optical alignment routines to ensure accurate initialization.
This results in improved wavelength accuracy and repeatability, outperforming conventional scanning systems in both precision and reproducibility.
Customizable Experimental Set-up
The SpectraPro HRS can be configured for extended wavelength coverage using rectangular-format sensors, as well as for spectral imaging applications using square-format sensors.
Compatibility with front-illuminated, back-illuminated, and deep-depletion detectors allows a wide range of experimental configurations. The system also supports numerous accessories, including light sources, single-channel detectors, fiber optic bundles, and filter wheels.
Total Control of the Triple-Grating Turret
The triple-grating turret design provides access to up to nine gratings, enabling exceptional experimental flexibility. Software-selectable wavelengths allow coverage from the UV through to the mid-infrared.
With a single mouse click, diffraction efficiency and spectral resolution can be optimized for each experiment, demonstrating both precision and ease of use.
Exclusive High-Performance Optical Coatings
Using the Acton #1900 enhanced aluminium optical coating, the SpectraPro HRS delivers high reflectivity from the UV to the IR, maximizing optical throughput.
An optional protected silver coating provides an average reflectivity of at least 98% from the near-infrared down to 400 nm.
IntelliCal Wavelength Calibration System
The IntelliCal wavelength calibration system delivers up to ten times greater wavelength accuracy by using dual mercury and neon-argon light sources to calibrate across the UV–IR range.
Integrated intensity calibration corrects relative spectral intensity and compensates for hardware influences and etaloning effects.
Powered by LightField Software
LightField software provides powerful and intuitive control of spectrographs and cameras, featuring a built-in math engine, real-time image analysis, and comprehensive spectral data processing.
Seamless integration enables direct data acquisition and control within platforms such as National Instruments LabVIEW® and MathWorks MATLAB®. Full support for automated IntelliCal wavelength and intensity calibration is included.
