miniRaman Spectrometer
Ultra-Compact Raman Spectroscopy Without Compromise
The miniRaman spectrometer from Lightnovo is the third-generation evolution of the acclaimed miniRaman series, combining exceptional analytical performance with an ultra-compact design. As one of the world’s smallest Raman spectrometers, it delivers laboratory-grade results in a portable instrument, making it ideal for both field and laboratory applications.
Designed for high-sensitivity qualitative and quantitative analysis, the miniRaman offers rapid, reliable measurements while maintaining the accuracy and stability required for advanced research and industrial environments.
Description
Patented Reference Channel Technology
A key differentiator of the miniRaman is its patented integrated reference channel. During every measurement, the acquired spectrum is automatically compared with the internal reference spectrum, enabling continuous real-time calibration.
This unique approach provides:
- Automatic Raman shift correction
- Automatic intensity correction
- Improved measurement stability
- Enhanced reproducibility
- Fast and reliable analytical results
By calibrating the spectrometer during every acquisition, users can confidently obtain accurate data without frequent manual recalibration.
Flexible Configuration Options
The miniRaman is available with either:
- 785 nm laser
- 660 nm laser
Both configurations can be optimized for specific application requirements.
SERS Configuration
For Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS), the miniRaman 785 nm is available in a dedicated SERS configuration, enabling highly sensitive measurements of low-concentration analytes.
Extended Spectral Range
When a broader spectral range is required, the miniRaman 660 nm Full Range model provides coverage from:
270 to 3900 cm⁻¹
compared to the standard 270 to 3000 cm⁻¹ range of the 785 nm version.
Designed for Portable Raman Analysis
With dimensions of only 105 × 50 × 45 mm and a weight of approximately 360 g, the miniRaman is perfectly suited for handheld and mobile spectroscopy applications.
Key portability features include:
- Compact and lightweight design
- Integrated rechargeable battery
- Up to 4 hours of operation on a single charge
- Optional IP67-rated ruggedized version for field use
- Built-in display for immediate spectral visualization
