The UV radiation emitted by the Sun, if properly dosed in terms of intensity and wavelengths, has many applications in daily life.
UV technology, in fact, if applied to LED lamps, can be highly useful in several industries and is used differently depending on intensity and wavelength (UV-A, UV-B, UV-C). More specifically, it can be very effective in reducing the bacterial count, the virulence of harmful organisms and the presence of pathogens, as well as in decomposing volatile organic compounds (VOC) and, therefore, reducing unpleasant odours in general.
