ZephIR™ 2.5e
ZephIR™ 2.5
The ZephIR 2.5 is Photon etc’s 320 x 256 px camera sensitive up to 2500 nm. The camera operates at up to >2500 fps with hardware-coded ROI reduction.
Description
ZephIR 2.5e – High-Speed, Deep-Cooled SWIR Camera for Advanced Applications
The ZephIR 2.5e is a deep-cooled short-wave infrared (SWIR) camera engineered for high-performance imaging across the 1100–2500 nm spectral range. Its advanced thermoelectric cooling system enables significant reduction of dark current and thermal noise, resulting in superior signal-to-noise ratios for demanding scientific and industrial applications.
Key Technical Features:
- Spectral Sensitivity: 1100–2500 nm, supporting a wide range of SWIR imaging tasks.
- Deep Cooling: Thermoelectric cooling eliminates the need for water or liquid nitrogen, and avoids the limited lifespan of Stirling coolers—ensuring maintenance-free, long-term operation.
- High Frame Rates: Supports rapid image acquisition via USB 3.0 or CameraLink, suitable for time-resolved measurements and high-throughput inspection.
- Integration Flexibility: Compatible with Photon etc’s PHySpec control software, and offers SDKs for Python and C++ for custom software integration and automation.
- System Integration: Compact form factor and robust design facilitate seamless integration into OEM systems and laboratory setups.
The extended spectral range and deep-cooled sensor architecture make the ZephIR 2.5e ideal for applications requiring precise detection and quantification of SWIR signals, such as material analysis, semiconductor inspection, and scientific research.
