My journey into photonics began as one of the pioneering students in the Photonics program at Technical College Ede. I later expanded my expertise with a Post-Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Business School Arnhem.
In September 2015, I became the proud owner of Te Lintelo Systems, taking over from Ben Te Lintelo, who stepped back after leading the company for 30 years.
Career Highlights
I’ve dedicated my entire professional career to the photonics industry. It all started with an internship at Melles Griot, where I gained hands-on experience across Quality Control, Purchasing, and Sales. This foundation led me to a photonics trading company, where I transitioned from inside sales to outside sales and product management.
With the turn of the millennium, I joined Ocean Optics to help establish its European operations. What began as a three-person team grew into a thriving organization of over 40 employees. My focus shifted from wearing many hats in the early years to building and expanding the distributor network across the EMEA region.
