Jeroen van de Velde

let me introduce myself:

I studied MTS Mechanical Engineering and Business Engineering at Fontys Hogeschool in Eindhoven.
Starting my career at Applied Laser Technology (ALT), where I worked as Inside Sales Support, focusing on the university and research market across the Benelux.
In 2016, ALT became part of PI (Physik Instrumente GmbH), where I continued to develop my experience and knowledge in high-precision motion and positioning technology.

Over the years, my passion has increasingly grown for the fascinating intersection of mechanics, motion and photonics—where precision engineering and optical technologies come together to enable new innovations.

What I particularly enjoy is working on complex customer challenges: understanding the application behind the technical requirements and working closely with the customer to develop a practical, solution-driven approach. Building strong, long-term relationships with customers and technology partners is something I value highly and consider essential for creating sustainable success.
