Monique Schutten
Photonics Degree at TH Rijswijk Photonics college at Technical College Ede I have a Photonics background and a Bachelor degree…

I’m a technician with a defect: I actually like talking to people. 😄
My natural habitat is somewhere between electronics, physics, and a problem that apparently “should be impossible.”
My background is in electronics, and I’ve taken the long road from LTS to MTS to HTS.
Along my career, a personal obsession with physics has led me into some wonderfully difficult technical challenges—and into connecting people, ideas, and applications across electronics, mechanics, and photonics.
Problems that make people scratch their heads, is where I like to jump in. “Good” is usually where I start, not where I stop. If something can be understood better, built smarter, or made to work when everyone else has already given up, I’m interested.
I also believe that technology works best when people do. Manufacturers know their products. End users know their challenges. When we put the two together, add a bit of curiosity, and we can often achieve something neither side alone could have done alone.
I’m always curious about the next difficult problem, the next interesting technology, and the people behind them.
So, if you have a technical challenge, a strange idea, or a problem that starts with “this probably can’t be done…”
Let’s talk. I’m probably going to be interested.
